Visitors and area residents now have something else to look forward to in Daytona Beach as Daytona International Speedway’s Ticket Office, Pit Shop retail location and Motorsports Hall of Fame of America are once again open for guests.

Volusia County To Give Away Free Pet Food And Microchips

Dog and cat owners in Volusia County will get a helping hand Saturday – free pet food and microchips, courtesy of Volusia County Animal Services and the ASPCA®. The give-away is the county’s way of helping residents who are struggling to feed their pets due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Orange County’s Small Business Grant Program Will Distribute Over $72 Million To Orange County Businesses

Orange County Government has received $243.2 million in Federal CARES Act funding. The County’s Small Business Grant Program will distribute $72.9 million of that to approximately 6,500 small businesses ($10,000 per business) to help them overcome the temporary loss of revenue due to COVID-19. Additional funds are available for indiduals too.

Volusia County Marine Science Center To Reopen On Weekends

The public is invited to return to the popular Ponce Inlet destination, the Marine Science Center, beginning June 6, when the center will begin a phased reopening. Initially, the center will be open only on weekends, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays and noon to 4 p.m. Sundays.
