Have you ever wanted to learn to be a trained weather spotter? You’ll have two opportunities in October, and the training is free and conveniently available from the comfort of your own computer, cell phone or tablet. It’s called SKYWARN training, and it’s geared toward anyone interested in learning more about our Florida weather.
Allied Health, a non-profit provider, in partnership with Seminole County and the City of Altamonte Springs, is offering a Drive Thru Test Site at Altamonte Mall, in the first floor of the parking garage adjacent to the AMC Theater.
No cost testing will be made available in select Seminole County locations beginning April 21.
All Seminole County Boat Ramps will re-open tomorrow, Thursday, April 16, 2020. Waterways are subject to the FWC Executive Order requiring vessels to maintain 50’ distance from other vessels, with no more than 10 persons onboard per vessel. Seminole County’s Social Distance Order also applies; individuals from different households should remain 6’ apart and no more than 10 persons shall be gathered.
